Is Complyra really free?
Yes. These browser-based tools are free with no signup. Document limits are 20 MB and 12 PDF pages per file to keep processing manageable on everyday devices.
Do my documents leave my device?
No. Document content and pasted text stay in your browser’s memory. We serve the application files, while your browser does the processing. Closing or refreshing the page clears your work.
Can redacted details be recovered?
The download is rebuilt from flattened page images with selected pixels covered. The original PDF’s text layer and attachments are not included. Areas you do not select remain visible, so review every page and cover codes that might encode the same information.
Does a generated notice make my business compliant?
No. The notice builder produces a starting draft. It needs review against your practices and applicable law. It does not collect consent, maintain a consent ledger, or certify DPDP or GDPR compliance.
